The Bupa Global & UK External Relations team is a small but mighty in-house team of six for Bupa in the UK. Bupa Global & UK is the UK’s leading healthcare provider, with 23,000 colleagues and comprising five operating businesses: Bupa UK Insurance serving over 3 million customers; Bupa Global providing insurance to over 300,000 customers around the world; 390 dental practices within Bupa Dental Care; 130 care homes and retirement villages in Bupa Care Services; and Bupa Health Services, made up of 61 health clinics and the Cromwell Hospital.

Our role is to protect and promote Bupa’s reputation, through impactful, attuned, creative campaigns that reach more people, break down taboos in society, drive innovation in healthcare and support the communities in which we live and work. Our creative campaigns over the past year have ranged from the impact of invisible disabilities and inclusion as the official healthcare partner to ParalympicsGB, to family and student health awareness and exploring the intrinsic link between planet health and people health. We work collaboratively to support business decisions and influence external stakeholders to minimise negative impact on our reputation. As a result, Bupa in the UK has consistently scored in RepTrak’s strong reputation category (70+) over the past three years. We endeavour to keep reaching more people to provide them with reassurance, holistic wellbeing and our high-quality healthcare and services, whereby we deliver our purpose: helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.
