World Security Report 2023
FTI Consulting
Client: G4S
G4S commissioned the first-ever World Security Report, which canvassed opinions on key industry themes. 1,775 Chief Security Officers from large, global companies in 30 countries with combined annual revenue of over USD$20 trillion were surveyed.
Its purpose was to position G4S and Allied Universal as THE global thought leaders on corporate physical security, through focused, timely and compelling storytelling using newsworthy data. We maximised traction by targeting tier 1 media coverage at a global, regional and country level. We devised an ambitious plan with our leaders and FTI Consulting, producing one global, five regional and 18 country press releases, in multiple languages. Our content was amplified by a social media campaign, executive videos and the report was hosted on an interactive website. We had a fantastic response from the media, industry and from employees to the report. Highlights include an interview with Allied Universal’s Global CEO, Steve Jones by Reuters and G4S Executive Chairman, Ashley Almanza, appearing on CNBC, the first two of 16 exclusive interviews with our leaders globally. We have achieved 1,040 print and broadcast pieces with topical news angles in every region, in line with our strategy. MI5’s National Protective Security Authority credited the report in its latest guidance on insider threats - this was a phenomenal achievement. The report has been downloaded by government departments, universities, NGOs, and many household brand names from banks to pharmaceutical giants and consumer goods to technology companies, as well as generating more than 1,500 new business leads.
